Announcements:
I've sent home all of the volunteer notes that I got from parents, thanks for helping to make our Christmas party a great time! Santa's Shop will be on Monday near the end of the school day, information went home about that today in the folder. Reading: Why do we read informational books? To learn, of course! As simple as that sounds, it can be a tricky thing. This week the kids have been learning about regions and practicing working out main ideas and picking out new things they learned. Writing: We started typing our persuasive essays this week, and I hope to finish next week. Math: Division is in full swing now. It's a very hard skill to pick up, and the only way to master it is with practice. The kids are very hard working though, and I am confident that we will get there. Social Studies: Our focus this week was positive and negative incentives. They are all around us, especially this time of year, so ask your student about what they are. Comments are closed.
